IT Project Management & Web Development
Two complementary practices under one roof: PMP-caliber project management for the initiatives that make or break your quarter, and web / portal / business-software development for the tools your team actually uses. Delivered with enterprise rigor, priced for midmarket P&Ls.
Why Networks One
Most SMB and midmarket IT projects don’t fail because the technology was wrong. They fail because scope drifted, vendors slipped, users weren’t trained, communication broke down, or the go-live plan skipped a critical dependency — the boring stuff that separates an enterprise PMO from a well-meaning IT manager wearing five hats.
We bring that PMO discipline — charters, WBS, RAID logs, stakeholder maps, communication plans, and closeout reports — to companies where hiring a full-time project manager isn’t justified. And when the project needs a corporate portal, a SharePoint intranet, a custom line-of-business app, or a customer-facing web system, our development bench builds it on the same statement of work, under the same PM.
One accountable partner, one plan, one team — from kickoff to go-live to post-launch stabilization.
Two Practices, One Team
Pick either practice on its own, or engage both together on a single statement of work.
Delivery discipline for the projects that matter: server refresh, cloud migration, office moves, ERP rollout, security remediation, M&A integration. PMP-caliber, delivered on your timeline.
Corporate portals, customer-facing websites, SharePoint intranets, custom line-of-business apps, and integration between the tools your business already runs on. Built to be maintainable.
Delivery Capabilities
Whether the deliverable is a migration, a portal, or a custom app — the underlying disciplines are the same.
Charter, WBS, schedule, budget, RAID log, and status reporting on every engagement. Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid — whichever the work demands and your organization tolerates.
Multi-vendor kickoffs, joint status calls, escalation handling, and single-throat-to-choke accountability. Your team stops chasing three vendors who blame each other.
Impact analysis, communication plans, training curriculum, super-user programs, and post-launch reinforcement. Because a project that ships but doesn’t get adopted didn’t actually ship.
Marketing sites, customer portals, self-service tools, and internal dashboards. Modern stacks (React, Next.js, .NET, Node), sensible frameworks, and hosting that fits your budget.
Intranet portals, document management, Teams-integrated apps, Power Apps line-of-business tools, and Power Automate workflows — built with governance from day one.
ERP / CRM extensions, custom reports, API integration between disconnected systems, and workflow automation that removes the manual re-keying between apps.
Where Clients Bring Us In
If any of these sound like this quarter, we can help.
On-prem to Azure, data-center consolidation, or platform refresh — with a plan that keeps the business running through cutover.
Coordinating network, phone, cabling, security, A/V, and furniture vendors so you open on time with the tech working on day one.
New system rollouts — ERP, CRM, WMS, HRIS — where the tech is only 30% of the work and change management is the other 70%.
SharePoint or custom intranet as the front door for employees, customers, or partners — with real information architecture, not just a folder of PDFs.
The workflow you run in Excel and email that’s become the bottleneck — rebuilt as a proper web or mobile app your team actually enjoys using.
Post-close IT integration between two companies — identity, networking, ERP, email, and portal consolidation on a sponsor-mandated timeline.
Platforms & Tools
Vendor-neutral on the tech, framework-neutral on the methodology — we bring what fits the client and the project, not what fits the invoice.
The Enterprise-to-SMB Advantage
The reason our clients keep coming back for the next project isn’t clever methodology — it’s that the same PM who ran the last one already knows their team, their vendors, their systems, and their politics.
Managed Delivery + In-House Build
Most SMB and midmarket companies don’t need a full-time PMO or in-house dev team. What they need is predictable access to both — a project manager who knows the environment, backed by developers who can execute when the plan calls for a build.
Because we run both practices under one roof, there’s no second RFP, no vendor handoff, no re-briefing a new team every quarter. The PM who wrote the charter is on the go-live call. The developer who built the portal is on speed-dial for the next enhancement.
How We Engage
The four-phase model that has driven every successful project we’ve run since 1998 — regardless of methodology or scale.
Objectives, scope, stakeholders, budget, and success criteria captured in a signed charter. If we can’t agree on the charter, the project shouldn’t start — and we’ll say so.
Work breakdown, schedule, resource plan, risk register, and communication cadence. Delivered as a written plan the executive team signs off before we spend a dollar of build budget.
Execution: build, migrate, roll out. Weekly status, RAID review, and vendor coordination. Change requests handled with formal impact analysis — no silent scope creep.
Go-live, hyper-care, benefits realization, documented handoff, and lessons-learned. Closeout report signed off by the sponsor — and then we’re available for the next one.
Why NOCG for PM & Web
